RandoMcGuvins,

If you goto your username in the top right, then click settings you can change your homepage to subscriptions.

What are dynamic lists, though?

Are you referring to the list of magazines that display to the right of the Favourites and the dot? Yeah, how is it decided what shows in that list?

I'd also like to know

brett,

This option is in the sidebar gear icon settings, not username menu -> settings. There are confusingly two different "settings."

The sidebar gear icon settings is a toggle between theme settings and (temporarily offline?) federation settings, which is also odd.

R15K,

I also recommend enabling "compact view." It fits things much nicer to the screen and makes the columns look better.

Bobloblaw,

Dumb question, but I can’t figure out how to subscribe to a magazine. I’m on mobile. Can anyone help?

Roll_4Initiative,

You can also open the sidebar (three lines next to the kbin logo at the top) then scroll down to where it says the magazine name, the subscribe button is directly below it.

Scroll to the bottom of the page and it’ll show the magazine name - there’s a subscribe button right under there.

neurospicygraphict,

FYI This strategy becomes difficult if you have infinite scroll enabled.

I wish I could collapse comments like on Reddit. So far it's the only thing I really-really miss from old.reddit.com

g0nz0li0,

I read a post elsewhere from someone who submitted a solution for this feature today, so it’s doable and hopefully coming. I think probably QoL fixes once other burning platforms have been dealt with.

On another thread user @Habnab created this script that lets you collapse comments, https://greasyfork.org/en/scripts/468449-kbin-collapsible-comments

There’s an open issue for this feature on GutHub, so it’ll be here at some point. We’re still really early here!

Blaze_232,

Any idea how to make the images appear big not so small above the title, can't even open them sometimes

lwgrs,

Thanks for sharing! Personally I don't like it - but as others have said it's nice to have the option.

TooL,

You can do this on mobile too. Click kbin in the top left, then click the gear icon.

I'm not sure I like it on just because it's a bit cluttered but the option is there

Oh, thank you so much!
The top bar is kinda noisy with all the random magazine names, but being able to switch back and forth to my subscribed feeds is the thing I was looking for!

mykl,

Yeah, nice to know it's there, but having all those random groups appear rather than my favourites is a bit too much. I switched it off again at once.

Same thought here, I'd like to at the very least see my subbed mags first (or most recently visited?)

turn_to_follow,

Related to your deal: is there an option to sort by subbed mags only, as opposed to the equivalent of /all?

I might just be dumb.

I haven't seen anything like that in the top bar options, unfortunately. You can filter by your favorites for viewing content, but that's the best we've got so far I think

Additionally, you can press this menu-looking button and get access to those different types of feeds.

Habnab,

I wish you could make it non-sticky

DarkThoughts,

Too messy for my taste. I think they should rather just move the menu from the right to the left side of the nav bar. It just feels so hidden away.

shadowmushroom1,

thx for the advice
