OC Advice needed for a chronic lurker

I've been a chronic lurker on many platforms for my entire life, but the amount I actually contribute on the internet is VERY little. I want to change that, so I thought I'd ask the experts of the internet. What does your engagement with the internet look like? On which platforms, and why? How do you find your communities...

princeofmar5,

I feel the exact same way. So far I’ve had success responding to posts that are just asking questions that are relevant to me like this one. I’m hoping eventually that’ll lead to me making my own posts, but baby steps.

princeofmar5,

For me it’s probably forgetfulness. When it comes to events I’ve started telling people if it’s not in my calendar it doesn’t exist. Now I just need to start utilizing a to-do list so I don’t forget things I have to do.

princeofmar5,

Coming from Apollo my first thought was to click a thumbnail to view an image directly and click the title to view the comments. Now I’ve only viewed the mobile site because it was being hugged to death every time I tried to view it from a computer, but without there being a separate element you can click on to go directly to content I see the title being the next logical thing to act as a way of viewing content directly.

princeofmar5,

I was looking for something D&D-esque recently so I decided to give Wildermyth another try and it’s been fun

princeofmar5,

@namesare4squares
I actually haven’t. I’ll have to check it out.
