@atomicpoet you seem to be following quite a few people. Would you like to join our beta? https://mastodon.murmel.social - it will help you stay up-to-date with the relevant news and stories from the fedi-folks you follow.
@atomicpoet@damonoutlaw I saw. Commenting from my secondary account as my primary account is still redirecting to Calckey. I really like it. With the exception of lack of capability with my Mastodon third party clients im enjoying the experience thus far
@atomicpoet You're probably one of the most visible examples on the fediverse that migration works, even with a large number of followers--and from Mastodon to Calckey, no less.
And theoretically, I think you could move back again, just by cancelling the redirect on your old account, and doing the transfer in reverse.
I wonder, any progress in handling variations in standards of acceptable content between servers? As long as the multi-tenant community server model is in place, that strikes me as far more difficult than basic importing of data at the technical level.
Thanks for providing the link and the server. I've been meaning to try out Calckey for a while, but nervous about finding an open server where I could just create an account and experiment.
I've had bad experiences trying to find open servers for other Fediverse services/platforms.
I've created a test Calckey account easily and am intrigued by what I see there. Looking forward to more experimentation before deciding if I want to move.
