@RollingStone forcing people to read his ingenious tweets is worth billions of dollars to him. Dismantling a semi open information marketplace is also worth billions to the extreme right.. he and his investors are fine with losing billions, its part of the plan
@RollingStone We all know Elon didn’t buy Twitter to earn money. He was always more into the quality side of the thing. And that has improved tremendously. According to Elon, at least…
@RollingStone Personally, I think it's because the Republican voters already have the monopoly on echo chambers, so focusing Twitter to become yet another one was doomed to fail from the start.
He basically gutted Twitter of its Value Proposition, and now it's just one of many of the same damn thang.
@RollingStone How many meals for low income people is 25 Billion in a year?
How many Bachelors degrees is 25 billion over a year?
How many rural hospitals can you build for 25 billion?
For being a power-monger, and that need for attention he has. Heck, the people would have damn near crowned him. But nah, 44 billion for the lowest hanging fruit - and still blew it.
I dunno, I can think of a lot more fun things than being the official oligarch for the neo-nazi movement..
@RollingStone The destruction was the unequivocal intention. Elon was the figurehead, but this destruction was a concerted effort by a multitude of nefarious actors.
Yup. From the fact that he's saying it's half you know it's a million times worse. With all the debt, there's no doubt Twitter's actual value is deep into negative digits territory by now.
