Wow, Github's code editor is now so messed up that opening the blame view of any file breaks CTRL+F on Firefox.

It's impossible to use this stuff now. I need to clone the repository and run git blame locally just to get work done.

Is there a way to disable their editor stuff globally?

wanwizard,

@ocramius FF 123.0.1 on Linux here. No problem with Ctrl-F, Ctrl-F and then search the page, works fine.

@wanwizard see for example: https://github.com/Roave/SecurityAdvisories/blame/d2b53099f06a627006a0eb3c9dde665140390fc7/composer.json

try CTRL+F, CTRL+F, then search "cardgate" (which is somewhere in the middle): I get no hits at all.

Firefox 124.0 here.

wanwizard,

@ocramius No problem here. something broken in 124?

@wanwizard Github changed something in the recent UI changes (since I'm rolled into alpha features).

Broken also on FF 123 for me.

@ocramius @wanwizard sometimes disabling the „refined github“ browser extension fixes glitches
