@danirabbit I had anticipated that being trans would be hard (it very much is), but I was less ready for the amount of shit that would come with becoming a woman, too. And yeah, it sucks to say that most of my woman specific problems can be summarized in 85% of cases with: Men.
It sucks because at the same time, for someone like me, who transitioned fairly recently (I know it's been quite a while for you now), I'm still in that awful, twisted place where obvious misogyny and predatory bullshit thrown my way is still at the same time oddly validating because it means my passing is good. They are being misogynistic and awful to me because, well, I'm a woman. That's how they see me, because that's what I am.
It's weird. I hope I will never get used to it. To being cat called and having men being awful with me. I don't want it to be something that I become used to and end up considering to be just a normal part of life. Because it's not. It shouldn't be. And it needs to change.
@plume I’m definitely still not used to it and you’re right that it’s messed up that so much of knowing that you are being perceived as a woman comes from experiencing misogyny. And knowing that you are being perceived as a woman is a thing that is validating. It’s a kind of twisted feeling for sure. I hope that part does go away eventually

Pretty females get harassed and catcalled a lot.
From the top of my head: around 70% of females has experience with some form of SA.
It is idiot that it is the reality for all of us.
