@abcderian @arstechnica Irrigation water typically contains animal waste byproducts. I'm guessing E coli.

@zalasur @arstechnica that was my assumption as well; but I think "Dangerous outbreak in children" needs a little more context than us guessing what it probably is.

e.coli? Industrial runoff? Something else? Inquiring minds want to know!
