Also found this Vintage Atari 520 ST Game System Machine on Goodwill. It's currently priced at $60 with the auction ending on May 29. Someday I’d love to get more into the Atari machines, both the 8-bit and 16-bit, they seem to be a bit of a dark horse that could have been much more popular even than they were. This one almost pains me to post, I want one of these so bad. But it’s pickup only in San Diego, CA: A NEXTStation along with MegaPixel display, keyboard & mouse is up for auction! Current price is $61. Only a few days left, it ends on May 29th. For anyone close enough to San Diego, this might be a heck of a deal because the pickup only tends to go for reasonable prices from what I’ve seen. Ever wish your Commodore 64 was a luggable? Found a Vintage Commodore SX-64 Home Computer on Goodwill. It’s at $206.23 right now with bidding ending on May 7th at 7:02 PM. I don’t have one of these, but have seen them at VCF Midwest. Quite interesting machines, though I’m not super surprised they didn’t do well commercially. Just not enough of a business market for C64s. But great collectors piece, check it out here: https://www.shopgoodwill.com/Item/197878018

Hey everyone, stumbled on a listing for a Hayes Smartmodem 2400 on Goodwill. It's currently going for $9.99 and the auction ends on May 7th at 7:51 PM. The modem is untested. If you don’t have access to an analog phone line you could always convert the guts to a WiFi modem, or just keep it for looks. I found a Bluray player at for $10. Bought some used Miyazaki movies for a few dollars more.

Today it feels (very slightly) subsersive to have a movie in a format that doesn't require an Internet connection, can't be injected with ads, and won't get taken away when the company who sold it gets tired of maintaining the service.
