This would be an example of totally dishonest and irresponsible journalism if it weren't too vague to be called "journalism" and too clumsy to be called "good": Microsoft executives encourage employees to commit felonies... and then they get promoted. https://lunduke.locals.com/post/5515429/microsoft-executives-encourage-employees-to-commit-felonies-and-then-they-get-promoted

@RL_Dane @FOSSForce I don't think that's entirely true. The center still holds pretty strong.

@RL_Dane @FOSSForce Texas could definitely scew the perspective.

  1. An ex-president's lawyer is arguing in front of the U.S. Supreme Court that presidents can assassinate U.S. citizens with full immunity.
  2. Nearly a dozen universities have called the cops on peaceful anti-war protestors, resulting in hundreds of arrests and clear instances of police brutality.
  3. Texas anti-DEI bill has led to firings of dozens of staff at public universities.

I'm kinda on the fence about whether this is a good idea. Probably depends on how it's implemented: Two widow founders launch DayNew, a social platform for people dealing with grief and trauma | TechCrunch https://techcrunch.com/2024/04/23/two-widow-founders-launch-daynew-a-social-platform-dedicated-to-people-dealing-with-grief-and-trauma/

@santiago I think you're sort of getting into my questions, but from a profit motive angle. My first thought was that a platform such as this would probably get people hooked on grieving more than anything else.
