Trump threw Afghanistan back to the Taliban when he promised our withdrawal. He failed to assess the situation that caused our involvement to be a wasted effort. He failed to assess the weakness of Afghanistan's government and the strength of the Taliban.

I think the point is that the ICC doesn't have any power to enforce its charges.

While one can applaud or disagree with the ICC, due to its legal structure with signatories & non signatories, they cannot enforce their rulings.

So I guess one could conclude, even though their ruling is received well amongst some, nothing is going to effect the Hamas leaders or Netanyahu.

It's kind of like a Congressional Non binding Resolution, sounds good but does nothing.
