I worked in IT for a couple decades, burned out, went back to college and got my bachelor's in literature. Went to grad school, burnt out again.
Life's an adventure.
I love linux, sci-fi, people of all walks, and Jesus. I'm not preachy.
Been using linux off and on since 1997, steadily since 2000, and constantly since 2019. :D
Big believer in free and open source software. Linux is freedom.
Manjaro is my pragmatic distro of choice, but Debian is home. <3
I wish I could go back to 1994 and be happy just making $4.25 doing helpdesk at my community college.
I wish I could go back to 2002 and work my dream job in OLD IT when they respected their people and developed solutions in-house, rather than using trash like outlook dot com/gmail, slack, gdrive, etc.
When I was an infosec guy, I would've laughed someone straight out of the room if they recommended using gdrive inside the enterprise.
42!! Lucky number! NOT 84! (Even though it came out in '84, that's immaterial!)
The ONLY Macintoshes that ran at 512x384 were the 1990 Mac LC and IIsi with the 12" screen, and the Color Classic and perhaps other related later all-in-ones.
ALL MONOCHROME COMPACT MACS HAD 512x342 RESOLUTION SCREENS.
