I’m currently at my neurologist appt. After that I have the usual work thing. Already have a couple of support issues from yesterday from when I was out. The later today just some school work and chillin. Not sure about the weekend yet.

So yesterday I was out doing what I can’t talk about right now, and my car started making knocking noises (like a lawn mower), as I was trying to get to a shop, my engine began to limit the power to it. So I limped it to the shop. Glad I made it, just as I got there it shut off.

Engine light was blinking and oil light came on. 😒 It was 2 quarts of oil low somehow, so not sure what is going on.

They checked the engine codes and the two that popped coencided with current issues that 2017-2021 Tucsons (mine is a 2020) have that deal with engine baring rods and the engine burning oil. There is even a class action lawsuit.

Now I have to get the car towed to Hyundai to being the diagnostic process to see if I can still get manufacturer warranty on it. I am still under 100,000 miles. Also going to look into that lawsuit.

So yeah, yesterday was a crap shoot.

@cliffwade Disaster indeed. The engine is blown. Luckily the manufacturer’s warranty is covering the work! Whew… Hyundai has 10…10 motor’s currently needing replaced with the same issue.

I am looking at about 1 week for Hyundai to even get to my car and another 8 weeks total to get a new engine in and completed.

@mike @Vivaldi I hear you! I tend to collect tabs as well. :) I love Workspaces also. Great feature for sure. The rules make it so easy to just open a website and not have to worry about it.

Have you tried tab stacks? It makes tab management that much more powerful!

Today was my first official pay-day as a full-time employee instead of a contractor that I've been for over 8 1/2 years.

It's so nice to get a real paycheck with taxes taken out, benefits taken out and all of that.

Sucks that the government takes so much damn money, but it's going to be much nicer come tax time when I have to file!

@cliffwade How did you fill out your form? I always fill out mine as single, 0 dependents even though I have kids. They take out more of check but come tax time, you get more back.
