This week on #SETILive, communications specialist Beth Johnson chatted with Dr. Tom Esposito, SETI researcher and Lead of the Unistellar Cosmic Cataclysms program, about the impending nova of T Coronae Borealis and the scientific efforts to catch it!
It’s dark where I am, and the stars are placed very favorably* to check out Corona Borealis (the Northern Crown) to see if the nova at T Coronae Borealis has erupted yet. This is a once in a lifetime opportunity to see a naked-eye recurrent nova.

As many of you know, I have worked for @novalauncher for 8 1/2 years. When I was hired, I was done so as a contractor and remained a contractor the entire time. Then two years ago, Branch Metrics acquired Nova and while I made the transition over, I was still a contractor due to Branch not having things setup to hire full time employees in the state of North Carolina.
