Majorly shivering due to my lack of working #thyroid. According to the doctor I’m in range so I need to ‘deal with it’. Great. This is not normal is it?? Heating on, hwb & fleece hoodie on.
@hobbitswife Hmm. So my problem isn't thyroid but I have a thing I need to get measured every once in a while. I'm afraid that I never trust doctors at their word on "in range" any more as so many of them are out of date on either current ranges or the degree to which some of us are affected even if we're within the range.
Cancelling everything but the school run on Friday 5th July. I intend to stay up to the wee small hours the night before to see the @Conservatives OUT!!!
Eldest has just been read to by Hubbie: Harry Potter book 7 near the start. He’s just come into tell me it’s all kicking off and they haven’t even got to the wedding yet - I don’t remember this bit so I’m gonna have to read that chapter to myself!
Yes, I have just sorted out these dvd shelves into age categories. There’s so many unsuitable / scary 18s mixed up with the PGs and Us, so I had to do something! Now kids only need to look at the front shelves.
*yes we leave this rental tomorrow morning, but still think it’s worth it!
@hobbitswife It becomes more painful the further from an exchange you are. Our speeds used to be in the KB's when our whole village's internet cable used to wrap around an airport. But then my mobile data, even now we have FTTC is faster. I think the countries mobile data has improved much faster than cable. Too bad latency is a nightmare.

Couldn’t sign up the other day as I got instantly banned - no way of appealing cos I can’t login. Tried another email address today and the same happened?! Their website or something I did?? No way of contacting them either.
Any recommendations for moving away from #gmail? Preferably somewhere that isn’t gonna implement #AI for #email? Can’t use my ISP’s email cos we want to change away as soon as OpenReach do their thing
