I work on back-end server-y type stuff at a place that keeps rockin' the free web. I like rust, python, and horrible puns (not necessarily in that order).

I tend to be nice for selfish reasons (I don't like hanging out with jerks).

I don't think I understand the English monarchy.

They're basically figureheads with no real power, but make lots of appearances at hospitals and road openings.

They're mascots. Imagine if there was this much pomp and pageantry every time there was a new Mr. Mets.

Seems like England could solve a lot of problems by getting a few Japanese mascot style costumes they dust off a few times a year.

If you run an instance, I would STRONGLY recommend that you import the 100.percent.csvlist at the least.

With the departure of Tucker Carlson from Fox, let us remember all his staff of writers, producers, assistants, and others who worked for years on his show and are now facing uncertain times in a difficult economy.

I'm spending those moments remembering they were also trash humans for supporting him and enjoying a few delightful moments of mirth.

Going to happily repeat this whenever I can.

Programming is a trade, like plumbing or electrical work. It's a set of skills that can be acquired without a dedicated degree, through experience, and there are plenty of very successful, legendary programmers who are examples. Many college courses focus on theory and concept over actual application, and skip things like coordination and collaboration, which are FAR MORE IMPORTANT for a career.
