This is something I have been talking about since I first joined the fedi in 2017 so I am very excited about this. I can't wait till I get a mention from someone with a username like @王李 or @դմիտրիԹբիլիսի@ժայռեր
Huge money pouring into decentralized social media.
Farcaster just got 150 million and Nostr got 12 million recently. Gonna be an interesting year. I don't think all this money is going to result in that much user growth of either network but it sure will bring in more eyes into the general space.

Pin people at the top of your timeline (like Instagram stories, etc..), and whenever you refresh your timeline, you can tap on their pictures to see their most recent posts in your timeline context. You can also see their posts only, for example.

I went to download it (now installed on macOS) and I was gonna file a report, but I'll just mention it here: your link to download the Mac app just links to https://github.com/ente-io/ente/releases?q=tag%3Aauth-v3 and the macOS version doesn't say Mac in its name, so the only way to tell which it is, is by knowing what a DMG is, which is not very viable for non geeks. It could link directly to the file, and the version should probably say Mac (also should list if its for Intel or Apple Silicon in the name)

I have implemented NIP-57 for @kosmos accounts, so if you host an lndhub.go instance, you could use this as well (for all of LNURL, Lightning Address, and Zaps). Or you could steal some of the Ruby/Rails code and add it to your own service.
@raucao I saw you had a sign in with nostr button on the Kosmos dashboard you showed, do you have any documentation about that? I know a few people who will be interested in seeing this sort of fediverse/nostr integration and I would like to send them a link
@dansup "current" is the only one that gives proper space to the bio link, so I would go with that since its quite important to not try to cram it in a line with other things

p4p Offline First Social Media Protocols gathering.
This Friday in Berlin developers from Cabal, Cable, Earthstar, p2panda, Secure Scuttlebutt, and PPPPP will be gathering to talk local first protocols and celebrate the 10th anniversary of the creation of Secure Scuttlebutt.
Nostr users might remember that Nostr was inspired by Secure Scuttlebutt and a bunch of these other protocols have interesting ideas we could adopt.
If you’re in Berlin, go hangout with them…. they’re all doing cool work.
My #ActivityPub server is receiving “GET /poco” requests from #Friendica servers (based on the user-agent). Can anybody point me to the documentation for this behavior? #AskFedi
@omz13@hypolite I see now what your talking about. This is super weird. Maybe a bug in federation between the newer version that masto.social is running and #friendica since the thread is all intact on my version of mastodon.
