our community gathered today for the funeral of one of our beloved village dogs, the littermate of my two boys, who passed unexpectedly and suddenly a couple of weekends ago, and whew 😥 equal parts beautiful and exhausting
my Very Good Boy comported himself with an eerily appropriate grace and solemnity. it was good for him, i think, to be able to give his missing brother a last sniff and farewell
and he’s had a stern talking to that we expect at least 10-15 more good years out of him 😭
