Do any Wellington venues work well with childcare?

Are there any tour companies that you can recommend for hosting a partners/family programme?

Can anyone who plays MTG tell me whether a space for games would be better arranged as a formal tournament or just some tables and a whiteboard that allows players to self-organise?

@timClicks @Kay i can’t speak for the venue (but it is a lovely space)

we’re a weekend “family” friendly event so we don’t organise childcare per se… we can have “family sessions” (at our smaller alternate event in october) and there are organised games, events, and giveaways focused on kids, but the expectation is that kids are managed by their carers or that carers are participating (and it’s the structure not the supervision “we” are providing)

@dave no. they’re available. along with ample hand sanitizer. people are using them… i wear mine when i am moving between areas. we also offer full refunds for people who cannot attend if they are feeling unwell.

another 3slot expansion bay for vic 20… but it won’t reach the cart slot of a vic 20… it plugs into the other one maybe? a hat on a hat
