In Momenten wie diesen bin ich gleichermaßen enttäuscht als auch besorgt. Wir haben keine Zeit mehr, um aus weiteren Fehlern zu lernen. On the APL Matrix channel, it was asked what a nice tacit version of the following code was:

5 {⊃⍸⍺=∘.+⍨⍵} 2 3 5<br></br>

It's a bit of an odd piece of code, since it returns the coordinates to the matching value in the resulting grid, but OK.

Some suggestions using Dyalog was:

• (⊃∘⍸⊣=∘.+⍨⍤⊢)
• ⊃⍤⍸⍤=∘(∘.+⍨)

The reason I'm posing this, is because I find my Kap solution much nicer:

• (↑⍸=)∘(+⌻⍨)

I've said this before, but I do believe that the style of function forks that are implemented in J and Dyalog were a mistake. Explicit forks and hooks are much better, and makes plain function chains into simple right-to-left function call sequences.

Hier sieht man deutlich, wo das Carportdach endet und wo unser Auto steht. Da sind einige Meter dazwischen.

Der Regen hat so heftig gewütet, dass jetzt noch die ganze Windschutzscheibe nass ist. 😯

Das muss mit ziemlicher Wucht dahergekommen sein.

#Emacs #Orgmode: Today, I've extended my-url-linkify() which resulted in a new wrapper my-add-description()

When invoked over an URL, it fetches the HTML page title and generates a link description (previous functionality).

Now, it also sets the description of an ID-link to the heading title of that link:

Meistens wird man da attackiert, die unabhängigen Quellen, die man brav einbindet ignoriert oder heruntergespielt und auf persönlicher Ebene angegriffen. 🤷

Since a couple of weeks, our #Homeassistant Android app is showing black screen instead of the content most of the time.

It seems that killing and restarting the app makes it work for a bit.

Does somebody else have this issue?

I can't seem to find anything related to that in the logs. Maybe it's our HA setup, maybe the app is broken. 🤷

Ich war vor Monaten bei einem Vortrag zu Völkern, die noch weitgehend von anderen Zivilisationen abgeschnitten waren und tlw. noch sind.

Der Vortragende meinte, dass diese Völter vermutlich innerhalb der kommenden 5-10 Jahre aussterben oder zerstört werden.

Das schockierte mich - ich konnte es nicht glauben.

Allerdings nach so einer Meldung wundert es mich deutlich weniger:
