I commented on the small child's candy so he ran back to his dad's office, selected a Starburst, carefully unwrapped it, and brought it back to me. when I didn't immediately eat it he looked very concerned and pointed at his mouth and said eat with the most earnest concern in his voice it until I ate it

nothing riskier than accepting an unwrapped candy from a very small child but you know what sometimes you just have to live dangerously (and not disappoint a very small child)

A coworker set a giant envelope on my desk with 200+ stickers in it and told me I could pick any of them I wanted, but warned me that some of them were nasty but it wasn't his fault because he'd ordered them as a pack of random stickers on Amazon. I regret to inform you that I could not find any nasty ones

As someone who has really struggled with wanting to look in control and like I know what I’m doing at all times it is wild how much you can get done just by walking into somewhere and saying “Hi I have no idea how to do this, can you help me??” This is a cheat code I wish I’d known sooner
