Last time I announced a release at midnight like this, there were issues with people not being able to play the song until the release date reached their time zone, which was annoying. Sometimes I really hate YouTube titles, like this recent one by Rick Beato: "The Father Of All Music - Why not listening to Bach is a mistake".
I mean, where do I even begin besides mentioning the obvious eurocentrism and implied notion that music wasn't really "music" before Bach? And for the record, I quite like some Bach from time to time.

I’ve released two songs so far this year, Airlock in January, Stupid in February.

April’s song is already written, another Mastodon collaboration, this time with @Onj who did an amazing job on the drums. You’re gonna love it!

I’m still working on a song for March. It’s a bit weird because I wrote the lyrics for it and had a tune in mind, but halfway through recording it, I had a completely new idea for the music. Now I’ve got two distinctively different songs with the same lyrics, and I’m not sure which one is objectively better suited to the lyrics.

I like both tunes, so whichever one I choose, you’ll probably hear the other one later as a different song.

'I Hate Traffic Wardens' is an early 2000's song that I co-wrote with my friend James Berry when we were in college together. With the power of and in particular , I was able to separate out his vocoded vocals from the music, and I rebooted the music in , effortlessly sliding his original 2002 vocal over the top. This is the result.
