    It makes sense.

    RTD and Moffat... They were both good eras of Doctor who... both good writers with strengths and weakness that complimented each-other... and I think they knew that at the time and today.

    That’s not the reality of the situation.

    Voting doesn’t legitimize the system.

    Record breaking turnout in 2020, and a larger chunk of the US than ever is convinced the election wasn’t legitimate.

    Remember folks “voting in isn’t enough, we must also ______” is legitimate strategy…

    “Voting is bad, don’t do it” is a psyop.

    If we could regularly pick the lesser of two evils every time we’d be on a much better trajectory.

    I'm not as hard on it as you... but I did find it disappointing on the whole.

    I think Filoni was more interested in setting up his big movie than making a good series with consistent characters... which is maybe my problem with parts of Mando S3 now that I think on it...

    I listen to a lot of pop history podcasts.

    Rome comes up at least monthly.

    It’s not a historical period I have an my particular favoritism towards. Other people bring it up, or things related to it that makes me think of it.

    Ok mutuals on , let's get this going towards the GFFA:

    • Luke Skywalker is and always will be my favorite character (from young Luke to grumpy Luke)
    • TLJ is the best Disney SW movie so far
    • Rebels is essential SW and I would trade almost all movies for that show
    • Gilroy is god (Andor)
    • Ahsoka should’ve been animated
    • Thrawn is the best anti-hero SW ever had (at least in the new canon novels)
    • The Jedi video games are excellent!

    Sure...

    I remember watching as young as 3 at my local library as a part of a summer program in the basement
    *Luke is also my fav, but most specifically ROTJ era Luke
    *Andor is the best Thing Disney has made.
    *I have blown up the Death Star in no less than 8 official video games, and I miss some of those older games.
    *I am Relatively excited for SW Video games that come out in the next several years.

    Yes… Ubisoft, the company with a proven history of abusing its workers, does look like it’s going to make a good Star Wars game.

    If it’s reviews make it seem as fun as it looks, I’ll probably buy it… but not right away.

    The compromise I’ve decided to make is I can give the scum suckers some money, but not in that release window that makes the execs cream their pants.

    • Favorite Classic Doctor is 7, the great Sylvester McCoy
    • Moffat Who is peak Who, both classic and new
    • Peter Capaldi was the most interesting new Doctor
    • Clara is my favorite companion of new Who, while Ace and Liz Shaw share the top spot in Classic Who
    • I'm SO GLAD that the Chibnall era is over
    • But I still love s11 with Demons Of The Punjab and It Takes You Away

    -The New who is all good in it's own way... except Chibnal... sorry... I never thought he was a good writer on Who or Torchwood
