Not worthy of freedom; he cannot handle it. Donalds believes this about himself. Without a boot on his neck he would be feral. I will take his word on that. But, he should not presume to speak for all black people.

In our history Black institutions, Black organizations were dismantled & burned. Churches burned. Neighborhoods burned. The less perceptive among us, like Donalds, roped in to cheer it on.

My grandfather remembered hiding under the bed as she manned the window with a shot gun when the white people from the town would get drunk and ride out on horses with torches to "scare the black folks" (they described it with different words)

He was so scared that my great grandmother might shoot... because if she hit one of them ... it would all be over. He fled to the north to work in the steel mills.

Ah yes Jim Crow what a wonderful time to be Black in this country. F-ing hell man.

As usual, @mmasnick is spot on about why the recent bill to "sunset" Section 230 is one of the most harebrained things to come out of Congress recently.

And what that leaves out is that Meta and Google are not the primary beneficiaries of section 230. It is the users of the Internet who are major beneficiaries of it and all of the other companies. Meta and Google have buildings full of lawyers. If they are going to get sued for ridiculous liability lawsuits, they can handle it. They have the money, they have the lawyers. They're able to do it. It is every other company, the smaller companies, the ones we want to build competition, to build new services, to create all the wonderful new things, the startups that we're seeing, those are the guys who are really the ones who are most protected by section 230 and this bill and the proposal does not even suggest that they are stakeholders in this or that the users of the Internet are stakeholders in it. Instead, it's basically saying Meta and Google, come to us with your reform bill. Otherwise we kill the rest of the Internet.

Four years later, unemployment has been under 4% for 27 straight months.

I was recently interviewed by Kingsman about the film, and my friend (and NARRATOR OF THE SERIES) Josh Boykin clipped this 1-minute segment on Twitch. This is a good example of why I think this show is important: https://clips.twitch.tv/AbrasiveTemperedMuleGOWSkull-jyX_YRcv0SzfYhgc. In essence, the culture of this community has a strong bias toward winning and losing gracefully, and celebrating players regardless of the outcome. I think that’s rare in competitive communities—and I think we should talk about it when we see it.
