I spent a long time living off of roasted chicken legs and baby yams - both could be dumped on a baking sheet without chopping, roasted, then frozen and taken out individually and reheated on a plate in the toaster oven.

I'm watching and everybody has such dewy fresh looking skin I thought: oh hey I should moisturize, I haven't done anything nice for my skin in ages.

Later, I shove my TV glasses up to my forehead so I can fuck around on my phone, only to have the glasses slowly slide back over my eyes.

Apparently, this is why I don't moisturize.

I am sitting in a park watching a gaggle of 8yr olds with digital cameras exploring and taking photos. Some kid just came up to me, wanted to show me the photo of a tree she just took.

And ya know, I think everything will be alright. The future is in good hands.

OMG I found the setting where I could triple the size of the lil arrow thingy on my laptop and HOO BOY I did not realize this was the stress relieving hack I needed so badly. I've wasted SO many brain spoons trying to find the lil thing. This is awesome!

Because I've turned boosts off for most of the accounts I follow (it helps with the floods of bad news btw, highly recommend!), I come across more of folks chatting back and forth, supporting each other, holding spaces for the tough stuff, and just goofing around.

@tty doesn't it!?! It's the dream, a bit stalled right now as I address some health and stability stuff for myself, but I think there are much better ways we could be living and I am pointing my hope and planning in that direction. 💪🧡
