I am thinking of investing in the latest #Ripple project. It is going to be a wind farm. This is project 4. It was meant to be a solar farm which I was not interested in. Now it a wind farm this will be more value in the winter.
@wishy@bazcurtis Ripple have previously charged about 4% of the initial investment as an admin charge and then around 0.2p/kWh generated so I wouldn't call it a lot.
AIUI the only admin you'd really need to do is for tax on the non "return of capital" part of the savings if you're over your personal savings allowance which for most is unlikely with Ripple alone.

Someone please explain the SEC/Ripple legal situation. So, a judge gave a mixed ruling, with both sides winning and losing on specific issues. But now it's going to a... jury trial??? Are SEC rules so unclear that a random group of people with no real subject matter knowledge have to now decide if Ripple is a security? Seriously, WTH? 🤔
