Microsoft Windows

I created a sample form for using via :

The most difficult thing about this script was to get the form and the tab control to size to their contents. That doesn't happen automatically. At Powershell level, the control size appears to have a Height and Width property that can be set. That is not the case on my Powershell and Windows 10 Pro. I had to create a System.Drawing.Size object and assign that to the size property.

@aeveltstra perhaps look into the Dock property?

@davidwengier Thank you for that suggestion, I will check it out. The documentation didn't give me the impression it would help for setting the initial size, but I may have overlooked something.

Thanks, . I rebooted this at lunch time because my computer was so slow and an update was available. About three hours later, here we are. Pretty sure I could have wiped and reinstalled by now.

@cs Linux isn't for everyone, but I admit it sure is nice to run one script file I made, and 30 seconds or less and my updates are all installed.

Odd. When attempting to save a file using 10, into a folder to which other files are written at the same time, it's impossible to change the name the file should receive, as each new file causes an update of the save dialog, moving the file name cursor back to front.

Why does 10 choose to copy files from one folder on the same remote disk to another, via my local computer? Instead of simply changing the file's inode? Who thought that that was great use of file systems and compute power?

Dear @microsoft developers: has none of you printed a spreadsheet with set to its built-in visual theme, high-contrast black? Because the latest version of apps for enterprise prints out black pages with light text. And when I switch the visual theme to the built-in high-contrast white, it prints white pages with black text. Same spreadsheet. That shouldn't happen.
