@cheeaun This has probably been asked before but in case not: is it possible (as in technically in the future) to filter lists by hashtag? E.g. I have a bunch of accounts in a Football list but it's very noisy. I'd like to be able to show only posts that contain certain keywords and hashtags, e.g. a filter like "#COYS#THFC 'Tottenham' 'Spurs' 'Postecoglou'". This filter could be toggled to easily switch between an "all posts" and "filtered" state.
@cheeaun It's such a shame. Mastodon is tantalizingly close to being great for following specific, esoteric things (like a football club), but it has these limitations which make it so hard for just the sort of person who needs it to be easy. The custom filter lists in Bluesky are somewhat like what I describe above and they work quite well.
Somebody needs to keep Antonio off of Vicario before the deliberate fouls in that heavyweight vs flyweight mismatch start paying dividends for the Hammers.
@hallenbeck@spurs personally, I only want to deal with one social media site & after trashing Fbook then Twitter, presently it’s Masto. I haven’t looked at any other site as a result. If BlueSky is that significantly better, then perhaps I will check it out, but available time is always the issue.

I hadn't watched a game in while. Very happy about their late-goal win, but I think there were too many give-aways, inaccurate passes. Not the Spurs I remembered from the last time I watched.
@steve_zeke@spurs Was definitely a struggle today for sure. You're right and it was frustrating in parts, particularly the turnovers we gave up and the many errant passes at crucial moments.
We've struggled with injuries and players being unavailable for various reasons though and I'm hopeful with players returning we can get some consistency back, as well as integrating our signings from January.
Werner has looked good and Richarlison has found some form. Top 4 is very attainable, imo.
I feel goalkeepers enjoyed slightly more protection from referees during corner set pieces.
It seems teams are noticing a weakness in Vicario's physicality and ability to stand his ground during corners and are exploiting it. Since that seems to be fair game according to the refs, Spurs need to find a way of working on that and maybe having defenders help out.

Fans have assumed he'll go with Bayern, but I'm not convinced. If he was determined to go there, he would have right away, no? It seem he's making a genuine attempt at choosing the right path for him, which speaks well of his character.

@mlawton@hallenbeck@mike I definitely think Richy has a lower ceiling than Nunez, I’d be very surprised if Richy exceeds more than 15 league goals in any given season.
I am thinking of ditching the @spurs group. The service hasn't been updated for 10 months and it is a bit unreliable. I'm afraid it'll be abandoned at some point.
Instead I am thinking we could use popular alternative https://a.gup.pe/ which is much more actively maintained and seemingly more popular.

I really like Royal. He's not the best in any area but he works so hard, is still young, improving, and such a good energy to have around the club. For me he was second best player against Burnley after Porro.

I agree that we need players who accept the backup role. I would prefer to have 4 starting CBs but that is not realistic - if a player should be a starter on a CL level club, Spurs can't afford to pay them to be 4th choice. So having Davies and Royal who accept their role gives us a huge advantage
