I think everyone has to remember that that tech-press was a big contributor to the mess that became social media. Their priorites are not the same as ours, and their observations and conclusions can take years to be exposed as completely billionaire fluffing horseshit. I respect a lot of tech writers, but others should be trusted about as much as ChatGPT. Which is to say, not much.

Zionists are bigger donors than Palestinians and they have bought the rights with politicians to indiscriminately slaughter them. If you make your political donations in a way that protects Palestinian lives, the playing field can be evened. There is an effort right now underway to only donate to candidates who do not receive AIPAC (America) and CIJA (Canada) money and that’s another way will end the genocide.

It’s said that VNW was the first televised war and that influenced public opinion. I was a pre-teen at the time, but I recall the tv news and my late parents disagreeing (mom was against). ’s slaughter (not a war) in may be the first streamed widely on social media.

The other side has pundits & pols spouting feeble talking points, propaganda, and lies motivated by?... Money? Power? Status-quo elitism? Racism? Arms sales? I don't know.

Excellent, must-watch interview, especially the beginning when he blasts Kirby for “doing nothing but undermining negotiations” and the end when he’s asked about Biden’s upcoming speech on antisemitism. He urges Biden to “desist” from conflating anti-zionism with antisemitism, because it’s wrong and because it’s anti-Jewish.

    Philip Weiss seems to think it’s about money and the election. I think that’s part of the answer, but every US president in my life has acted to preserve empire. They all have that in common.
