I see Marcone as being the Big Bad of the entire series, but helpful/antagonistic until then
These books are all about the seduction of power and the challenges of using it without losing yourself or your values. They're also about fighting monsters, be they fairytale or otherwise
Marcone is a foil to Dresden. Both are human. Both have vast power. Both have strong drive for what they believe

I actually posted a big long speculation thread a while back about how the final 3 books are going to wrap up, given the story themes that have been explored so far.
I'm being Marcone will be the big bad of the second to last book (only because cosmic horror is kind of the end-all -be-all of BBEGs)
I'd go with Maximilian Frey, police officer and budding father, who took up a Denarian coin to save his wife and unborn child from red court vampires in #DresdenFiles from @evilhat.
Max paid dearly for that, of course. He managed to save his wife and child, but she left him because she couldn't live with what he'd done.
I considered playing him as a lesbian woman, but that didn't quite work out for me.
I present my favourite collection. There are three solid metal d20 for #dsa#DasSchwarzeAuge, there are two green dice that were made for Thomas Finn and my Simyala campaign.
I adore the two sets of tiny d6, one together with a micro dice cup.
And my very special #DresdenFiles#Fate dice with a pentagram on the Zero.
Last, my favourite metal d2. And no, it's not a dime. Don't let anybody tell you otherwise.

I've been thinking about what the Big Apocalypse Trilogy is going to be, and here are my thoughts:
We know the final 3 books are going to be named after the swears used in the books. Hell's Bells, Stars and Stones, and Empty Night, but we don't know what they'll be about.
I think they're going to be in the order of Hell's Bells, Empty Night, then Stars and Stones.
