Man I have so many scrapes and scratches from gardening barefoot and without gloves, but I'm happy to say that I've dug up all the grass in the garden, planted 4 different types of seeds, and thoroughly watered it and all my potted plants.

Per the Guardian, the erupting volcano,
"Ibu is one of Indonesia’s most active volcanoes, erupting more than 21,000 times last year. "

Doesn't that translate to it erupted all year long? How are we defining an eruption if we can count multiple eruptions a day?

Clarification for this will be most appreciated.

Since I know I won't get time to get many done I'm keeping the paint job really simple and just calling out the main stuff. Tried really hard to keep the red in the colours to help them look more cohesive and board gamey when playing.

Feminists taught me that Mad Max Fury Road is not a feminist movie. I get that.

Fury Road was just an action movie where the violent protagonist was a woman with a visible disability, instead of an able bodied man. I get that.

But I still enjoy the fact that George Miller looked at all the dudes that got angry that a woman was the star of a Mad Max movie, and said "Cry about it!" and doubled down.

I am so watching this.

@mekkaokereke I thought Fury Road was pretty feminist. It was all about how a society treated women like things so they tried to run away to escape. But then realized that running away wasn't an escape and instead returned to claim their place as valued members and leaders in society instead.

Done some drawing tonight, I think I might actually be getting better. 3D modelling gas definitely helped me a lot just sort of figuring out shape. Not entirely but a wee bit. These are for a project I'm cooking up, of which they will be just a small part.

I think it's time for a miniatures clear out. My hobbying has changed so much just in the last year and I have very limited space for storage. Not sure there's much secondary market for 3D printed stuff but I would be loathe to just destroy anything

So I'm not saying my Gisa and Geralf deck is an aggro deck, but it did get my opponent to 5 on only 3 lands.
(Note that my commander and most of the deck is 4+ mana)
Turns out, Gravecrawler, Diregraf Colossus, and Corpse Blockade are very good friends.

(Ignore the fact that my opponent played no relevant spells for the first 5 turns of the game).

Of course then I was still stuck on 3 lands and proceeded to die quickly.

As a Catholic woman, I find the commencement speech by that football player disgusting and I'm ashamed to have anything in common with him.
And yes I also grew up learning queer-phobia but I was at least smart enough to see through the bullshit.

I live having guests over, but it's sometimes hard when I wake up at 5 or 6 am and they wake up at 10 am. Just have to hang around the house quietly for 4-5 hours. Which is difficult because I can't clean (not very quiet) and they're sleeping in the room with all the stuff I'd normally be doing (painting miniatures, computer)
