All in all #JujutsuKaisen might be interesting but the mood it creates is an utterly miserable one.
I’m almost up to date with the manga and the gist is:
There is nothing to look forward to, no clear end goal to root for. The “good guys“ are always struggling to prevent the worst and only sometimes manage to do so. Characters are likely to not survive and their relationships are mostly practical.
Even other popular Shounen that are rather dark are not that void of human warmth and hope for the future.
I guess for some that’s the interesting part because it’s different, but I don’t like it.
@WanderingInDigitalWorlds oh ok that’s awesome. I must’ve missed the Hell’s Paradise news. And I’m sure considering Demon Slayer is moving along in a steady direction. That’ll free up time to do new projects and produce more current projects.
@Pandaamaruu Currently, it seems like MAPPA has 360 staff... My worries were unfounded, as they have enough to rotate time on and off on animation projects. Demon Slayer and their bigger projects would go swimmingly in this case.
They sold out of the Gojo drink but the guy was so nice to me he let me have the Gojo sleeve and sticker. Also my blind coaster purchase was Gojo. The drinks were actually really good!! Better than the Honkai Star Rail Sunright collab. That one required you to buy the set to get any goods. #jujutsuKaisen#crunchyroll#theAlleyTea#anime#collab
No spoilers, but somehow the most recent episode of #JujutsuKaisen felt more... definitive to me than the respective chapter of the #manga. The soundtrack probably made it seem so. Er. If you know what I mean.
