One of the things Hollywood have trained the general public is that it's always a bad guy who is behind every wrong doing in the movies.
Most people will buy it if Netanyahu is ousted and replaced with the "moderate" war criminal Gallant is the best choice to solve the Hamas problem and create a respectful image of Israel when he allows minimum amount of food to enter Gaza just enough to keep them from starving, make sure that all rebuilding is done by using Israeli provided material and have a security zone and port under American and UK control.
The Western audiences have been dumbed down into "good vs evil" narratives, so you just have to "get rid of the bad apples" and the system will work as intended. So if you get "evil Netanyahu" out Israel will go bnack into being "a democracy" and they can stop putting attention to the issue.
You can see that same narrative at play when they demonize Hamas and insinuate that "if only they got rid of it" the Palestinians would be "A-Ok".

He’s not the only problem for sure but he’s very consciously driven the hard-right turn of Israeli politics for decades, since before he provoked the assassination of Yitzhak Rabin.
Saying he’s not the problem is like saying Hitler wasn’t the problem with the Nazis, in a sense.

Iran is an authoritarian theocracy that doesn't deserve a blank check, HOWEVER, they arming Ansarallah, Hezbollah or other resistance groups is one of the good things they do. You can criticize a government while at the same time acknowledging when it does good.
