Tink (in back) has had what we thought was a tooth abscess for a couple of days—we were giving her antibiotics, but today, she seemed like she was getting worse, so we went to the emergency vet. It was cancer—& it had already spread to her lymph glands. So we’ve lost our Tink, but hopefully, she’s reunited with Tibby (in front). I can’t believe they’re both gone. She was 2 yrs old when we adopted her—she’d been living on the street, but a cpl of women who worked for the Santa Clarita PD spent weeks trying to nab her & finally got their hands on her w/ a McDonalds cheeseburger. She was skin & bones, had hypothyroidism & a broken leg. But she recovered & turned into the sweetest, cuddliest, goofiest little Chi ever. We had 12 yrs with her.
