Okay, I ran through the article and didn’t find any red flags. I’m sure there is at least one. Anyone more savvy here who can describe why this couldn’t work in a real life scenario? Because otherwise I’d love this to be true. Imagine the highest population countries getting rich as Poopistan.

One poop only makes about 12 ml of jet fuel, or a little over a gallon a year. Current consumption of jet fuel just by USA is around 17 to 18 Billion gallons. So even if everyone’s poop got used, we would still be short 10 billion gallons just for USA.
