Yah, predictable that they would all eventually shut down in AL.
One of the potential consequences is also reduction in organ transplants. If embryo's have personhood in spite of having none of the brain functions that are normally taken as the criteria, then beating-heart cadavers will logically also still be seen as persons, and organ harvesting becomes murder.
A lot of facilities will not take that chance, and will stop harvesting transplant organs in that way in AL
@mloxton@GottaLaff no, I don't think they'll go there. They seem to be concerned only with the intangible unborn. They've demonstrated repeatedly they don't GAF once the fetus passes through the birth canal.

My understanding is that ‘organ harvesting’ is now considered an offensive term. I’ve certainly been picked up on its use in the past as it demeans the (live or) brain dead person’s role to something akin to just agricultural production.
Most transplant authorities prefer organ ‘recovery’ or ‘procurement’.
Forced donation is still occasionally called ‘harvest’.
Regardless this is a real risk to health provision
