What is the best distro when it comes to UX and UI? Preferably -based, as I am more used to those, but I'm open to trying other tastes

@Skoop Windows + Debian in WSL2 :)

@shochdoerfer sure. I currently have Windows + Ubuntu in WSL. But I want to experiment on an older laptop with fully using Linux

@Skoop probably anything that ships with Gnome. I'd recommend Fedora, although its not Debian based.

@Skoop Even after installation, you can try multiple 'dekstop environments'. Switching is easy and possible on the login screen.

I do wonder: You going to Linux again? Last friday that was still different. 😅

@Skoop Debian with XFCE (instead of Gnome or KDE).

@Skoop I was pretty happy with (Ubuntu-based - which in turn is Debian-based) Pop!OS
