Bullet Trains Are Coming to America. Too Bad Our Old Rail Lines Can’t Handle Them. Only a measly 375 miles of U.S. track are equipped for 100+ mph speeds. https://www.popularmechanics.com/technology/infrastructure/a45025005/bullet-trains-in-usa-high-speed-rail-complications/

Bullet Train

Illegal_Prime,

This is a stupid headline, high speed rail BY DEFINITION, will almost always use its own right of way. It’s not generally going to make use of existing infrastructure. If it does, you upgrade it.

This is called “opportunity”

over_clox,

Bruh, trains in the USA can’t even stay on the tracks at 5MPH, you actually expect me to trust a train at 100+ MPH? Get real…

@perviouslyiner There is a need for it. America as whole needs a more robust public transportation system.
