OK, this is what the #EgoFit under-desk treadmill sounds like when I'm on a video call

I'm pretty impressed with that. A bit noticeable if I'm at jogging pace. But at a light amble, no one on my calls today could hear it.

@Edent Sien that was presumably just using normal recording software and it's virtually undetectable it probably doesn't matter too much but what were you using for your video calls? I find Google Meet is exceptional at filtering background noises, Zoom is nowhere near as good ... (People can still here my Model-M keyboard on that)

Couple of weeks later and I'm still using the #EgoFit under-desk treadmill.

Have upgraded my feet to those silly "five-finger" shoes - which are perfect for lightweight activity like this.

5,000 steps uphill per 1 hour meeting - that's a pretty good workout 🫠

Only way to keep me sane during a long conference call!

I've added a smart plug to my under-desk treadmill.
Saves me having to bend down to switch it on and off.
But, more importantly, energy monitoring!

On the lowest speed, it draws a bit under 30W.

Figured it's gonna be good enough. I'm also tall (6' / 182cm) so a short one wouldn't work for me.
