He broke the law and is being held accountable. No matter the justifications, the whataboutism, etc, the answer is simple: he broke the law, and must be held accountable.
Resist the urge to frame it as the same as calls to ‘lock her up’ because it’s not the same. That WAS political; when you conflate it, you accept the framing that THIS is political.
@georgetakei So true! That kind of language should have never been tolerated by GOP leaders. (Except the GOP hasn’t had any real leaders in who knows how long…)
@georgetakei But in Trump's worldview, anyone who doesn't love Trump is a loser and anyone who holds him accountable is a sick, unfair, partisan psycho. No amount of reasoning will change that. It's baked in. However, his rants would be more interesting if he had a wider range of vocabulary. Even Sarah Palin has more words and more interesting metaphors and Trump's word hoard seems to be shrinking.
