Green_Footballs, 1 year ago A whole lot of Twitter applications (for using the API) have been shut down recently. Mine included. Trying to find out why is pointless. There’s nobody left to answer you. You don’t even get an email with a poop emoji. It’s a fucking ghost town, running on fumes.

winslowjosiah, 1 year ago @Green_Footballs I'm not even able to use the Free tier for my use case anymore! The one and only thing my application was doing was reading specific tweets given an ID. That used to be free. Now it's $100 a month.

shoq, 1 year ago @Green_Footballs At least we now know it wasn't my 18 post treatise on joining Mastodon hours earlier that got our app borked. We've seen too many others suffer the same fate. It's stupidity, not malice.
