I understand the presumption of innocence. I also dislike the maxim that "there's no smoke without fire." To not appreciate these things sails close to reactionary thinking. But four women making accusations is more than smoke. So are investigations by two fairly reputable news organisations. There still needs to be fair trial, but anyone who at this stage presumes a 'witch-hunt', or a 'political stitch-up', or that the victims are lying, exposes themselves in a very bad light
@Greenseer However, a blanket dismissal of the rule should not be applied, particularly when it does not materially affect the syntax of the sentence in any detrimental way and may, in fact, provide greater fluency. 😄

They're not Establishment (sic) media, although several members of the establishment have their own shows on the channel.
