Actually that system claims to have a 75-90% interception rate and that's against the normal use of a handful or a dozen at a time. And it's used here against mostly improvised unguided rockets or missiles so ancient not even Russia is using them anymore (old Russian unguided missiles from MLRS systems, but without the actual laucher but started individually with no clue (and not caring) where they hit are often the higher tier tech they use). That's a completely different and much lower level of threat than drones and cruise missiles with programmable flight paths. In fact: that system and overwhelming it with much, much cheaper drones was probably a scenario Iran had in mind when developing Shaheds.
Also Israel has a much higher military budget and only needs to defend 1/30 of the area with it, mainly against low level terrorist threats. So they can usually afford to protect the majority of their territory much easier. And it's still very much inefficient which is one of the reasons Israel is one of the countries working for quite some time on more affordable laser systems.
