Answer: it's that years old Spotify bug where they don't handle two artists with the same fucking NAME differently, so there's a South East Asian artist named Dio, and it's trying to tell me this track is by Ronnie James Dio.
Similarly, there's an instrumental band named Sky (very good), and a rapper, also named Sky (I don't pass any judgement on this one since it's not my style of tunes).
Sky (band) haven't released shit for decades, but Sky (rapper) has, and just pinches bridge of nose Spotify, sort this shit.
Spotify did tell me that Wicked Smile, one of the random bands I caught when I saw Black Majesty a few weeks back, has a new single.
So that's good.
I just wish that Spotify wasn't so hung up on telling me that an old band has re-re-released a live version of something that they, let's face it, found a bootleg copy of to legitimise.
I did, indeed, add the code for Items to my ywriter7 -> Json dump program.
I'd love to put it up for others to use, but frankly, I'm not in the software sharing ecosystem and I can't be fucked cleaning my code up for that kind of scrutiny.
