“Jews cannot fight antisemitism alone.

The victim cannot cure the crime.

The hated cannot cure the hate.

It would be the greatest mistake for Jews to believe that they can fight it alone.

The only people who can successfully combat antisemitism are those active in the cultures that harbour it.”

@ixi One way to fight it might be to acknowledge and address the tensions bw the principles of judaism as many jews understand them and the authoritarian impulses of a neurotic colonial ethnostate.

I have never felt so antisemitic (a lover of jewish culture and thought and therefore in essence a lifelong philosemite) as I do now, as I do when forced to contend with the logical implications of Israel as a political entity.

Yup, twisting a call to fight antisemitism into an argument about a false claim about Israel as an ethnostate, coupled with the notion of blaming Jews for the actions of the state of Israel, is textbook antisemitism.

However, thank you for your honesty.

I have no intention of interacting with you any further than I already have.
