The german translation for both street and road is Straße.
Therefore stroad would also translate to Straße.
And I think that says a lot about our views on car-infrastructure.
@couchsofa IMO Road is more "Landstraße", "Bundesstraße" or "Staatsstraße"(in Bavaria), where Street is inside a town, so basically the same difference as in english
