For me it has to be cables. I spent years thinking that it would be super-difficult to create cables - and then I tried them and it clicked and I’ve been messing around with them ever since. This is the first cable knit I made, in Debbie Bliss Tweed (heavily reduced) and a free pattern - I still wear it a lot
