My current WIP is a nonfiction account of the year my dad, who had Alzheimer’s, lived with us. I started it several years ago during a brief time when I wasn’t working and made a fair amount of progress, but set aside when I began working full time. I began writing again at the beginning of this year. I’m close to finishing the first draft. I’d like to try and get it published, that being said, I have never published anything, so I’ve been researching and looking for places that accept submissions. There’s a pinned post on my homepage that tells more about me, so I won’t bore you with it here. 🙂
@Likewise@CindyWeinstein wrote an excellent book about her father's early-onset Alzheimer's and might be able to offer advice on a venue for your piece.
