I'm 19 so I know I got it way easy compared to my Momma, gramma and beyond.
Yeah I still get racism, still get frisked by the law ,still get those side looks when I go in a all white area. Just shit a young black guy got to accept spose. But compared to the blatant racism/abuse/beating/lynching these mfs played out I got it easy.

I'm an old white guy, so I can't say anything to the lives you & your loved ones have lived, but I'd like to add:

  • my generation saw the horrible stuff get pushed back, and thought we were more-or-less done with racism, except for a little clean up.

  • we were wrong. Apologies from me, and I hope more white folk come to understand that.

  • I can't tell you what you need/don't need to accept to get through, but I'm not in a mood to accept you getting that.

@Jaden3 I'm sorry you get frisked by police that's so sad it must be really scary to get racially profiled by the police and it's absurd and doesn't happen to me at all.
