The oldest kid wants to learn more about HTML/CSS/JS. His main driver is an Android tablet.

What is best for him to upload, serve, and tinker with (static) code?

Any thoughts?

@jorijn I second codepen, but would seriously recommend something with a mouse and keyboard to go with it. I’ve used a tablet to write short text programs and scripts before, and do not recommend it, mostly due to the enormous cramp it gave me in my neck. Also due to how some tablets demand that your code adhere to proper English syntax as well as Python, and helpfully correct your mistakes

Alan,

@jorijn I think @codepen might work for that situation.

@Alan @codepen

Thanks :) I’ll have a look.

@jorijn GitHub repo, hit the dot key to open vscode, pay for pro to get GitHub codespaces going, host on GitHub pages.

@mijndert that might just work, I’m not against sponsoring his learning journey a bit :)

He’s programming using OpenAI right now. The little dude is years ahead of when I was his age.
