Currently using my #PineTab2 with working Wi-Fi and Bluetooth on @mobian! It's not ready for distribution yet. We still need to work some things out, including getting a license for the driver and firmware, but this little @PINE64 device has come a long way!
I can recommend repurposing Chromebook Tablets as Linux tablets - postmarketOS supports a bunch. Writing this from a Surface Go 2 running #NixOS, btw ;-)
@Anachron I am a bad person to ask about videos, I seem to consume unusually few. Active use battery life for me is at about 6 hours, standby is pretty good - I forgot how much it looses per day, but when I forget to turn the Surface off, I can pick it up 4 days later and it's still not off.
The Intel chips in the Go/Go2/Go3 are effectively 8th Gen and not fast, but they should still be faster than the Quad Core Cortex A55 in PineTab 2.
